The amount of students is growing and there are more students who study on campus. That is why ORAS is content with the plans of the new Learning Centre which will be called Pulse (Practise Unite Learn Share Explore). The executive board has already agreed with the plans for building Pulse. There will be 4500 square meters built for education and studying.

The new building will be all about active education. There won’t be any classical lecture hall you are used to, but a lot of lecture halls where experimenting with new types of education is made possible. In these interactive lecture halls students can continuously give feedback to the teacher. Next to that, in Pulse good catering will be provided with spaces to work in .

A special feature of this building will be that the lecture halls can be used as study environment during exams.

The building will be situated in between the faculties 3Me and Industrial Design. The building will probably be ready for use at the beginning of academic year 2017/2018. If you have any ideas about the interior of the building, please contact Suzanne at
